E3 Photos for those interested....

I just posted 230 photos I took at last week's E3 on my web site. They're not exactly....professional....but they do a good job of documenting what E3 is all about.

In a few days I'll also have impressions about each game I saw, but for now there's plenty to look at...including a much-requested Booth Babes section.

Aaaand, just as a taste, here are a few samples (assuming I'm doing this right). The first is of pornstar Janine, the second is of the Xmen Babes, the third is some Gothic 2 models. Enjoy!

Ugh, sorry for the non-working pics. I went threw this whole situation where vertical pics were appearing on their side when clicked on, and during the process of fixing that, I forgot to remove the dupes which resulted. End result, it took me an extra hour, but it's all fixed now (I hope).

Sorry about that, although I'm afraid to tell ya that the Res Evil 0 pic is of the banner and not the game. A pretty kicking banner though.

(Res Evil 0 looks just like Res Evil 1 GC....which isn't a bad thing of course, but that's why I didn't bother with footage shots.)

As for the "blond with the nice pair"...That's Janine, one of the...erm, bigger pornstars in the biz. Ask any guy who watches even a smidgen of porn, and they'll identify her. And there are 3 more photos of her on my site, so you'd better check it out.
By the way, she was there to promote an adult game which I believe she provides the voice for....sorry for not knowing more, I must admit I was a tad starstruck to see her there. She was in a Hall where all the smaller, independent companies were and there was very little of real interest to me...until I rounded the corner and saw her sitting there, all by her lonesome. By the time I had approached her, there was a line of prolly 20 guys behind me. Kinda funny actually....the guy in front of me, after getting his autograph, then pulled out a stack of at least 15 magazines/photos/etc of Janine for her to sign. He was fumbling nervously and just wouldn't shut up, heh. He must have taken 6 or 7 photos of her, during which I snapped a few (the vertical photo on my site is a pose I requested after she gave me an autograph). A true fan, he was.

What was this booth about? Re-release or just a retro one?

Actually the booth was probably for Dragon's Lair 3D, but they were showing the old game as well because 3D is based upon the first game.

Agtfox is right on both counts. Creator Don Bluth was even there on one of the days to sign autographs. I missed out, which I'm still kicking myself for, but the couple I went with got a signed poster by him and 3 or 4 other Dragon's Lair folks....Don Bluth even offered them Best Wishes on their upcoming wedding in his message....Very cool, and considering Dragon's Lair was one of the most influential games in my youth, I am completely envious.

Anyway, the updated Dragon's Lair 3D is pretty cool. Too much of the gameplay seems to be the standard Resident Evil style item-hunt, but graphically it's amazingly similar to the Laserdisc original and when Dirk does step into action, it's a blast to watch. Oh, and the original announcer (or at least a sound-a-like) is back to narrate the game, which is a nice touch. And Daphne is as whiny as ever.
