Review Wanted: The Philadelphia Story

I am looking to purchase this film and noticed that there are two versions listed on dvdpricesearch. One from MGM and one from WB. Has anyone seen both and can recommend one over the other? or are they both of the same transfer?

Any additional information would be helpful.

Thanks

...afaik they are exactly the same, except the MGM disc (which was released several years ago) came in an Amaray case, whereas the newer WB disc comes in a 'snapper' - natch!... four-star movie, btw! ... remade as a musical in vistaVision ("Motion Picture High Fidelity") & color - High Society - with Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly & Frank Sinatra taking on the parts originally played by Grant, Hepburn & Stewart, and also featuring Louis Armstrong... I'd say three stars...

. . . . . .

also, if you notice the two different versions on dvdpricesearch, the MGM version is only available at a few Canadian retailers. That version was long ago discontinued in the U.S. The rights for distributing this film (along with A LOT of other MGM films at about the same time) went from MGM to WB. All of these discs are the same discs with different packaging.
Maybe MGM still has the rights to this film in Canada?
