Best Driving Songs?
I don't think this has been done recently, but if it has, I apologize...
What songs do you love listening to on a hot, sunny day while driving down the freeway? Two of my favorites are:
Radar Love - Golden Earing
Runnin' Down a Dream - Tom Petty

The obvious choice...
Steppenwolf: Born To Be Wild
Other really good ones:
Creedence Clearwater Revival: Proud Mary
Smith: The Weight
Roger McGuinn: It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)

When I'm feeling particularly aggressive, I pop in "Dragula" and "Living Dead Girl" by Rob Zombie. They definitely are great driving songs. Also, "Agenda Suicide" by The Faint rocks. Have you heard of them isamu? They have definite similarities to Depeche Mode and The Cure. Anyway, I definitely agree with Grimfarrow about "1979". It's more of a mellow driving song, but really an excellent choice.

In no particular order:
The Offspring: Bad Habit
Ministry: Burning Inside
Judas Priest: Painkiller, Metal Meltdown
Opeth: Blackwater Park
Dream Theater: The Test that Stumped them All
Fates Warning: A Pleasant Shade of Gray Pt. 5
Sepultura: Refuse/Resist, Territory, Arise
Tool: Aenima, Forty Six and Two, Sweat, Hush, Intolerance, Sober, Disgustipated
Pantera: Primal Concrete Sledge, The Art of Shredding, Domination, 13 Steps to Nowhere
Emperor: With Strength I Burn
Come to think of it, that's an angry list. I really need to drive in rush hour less.
