I went with Episode I. You may want to rewatch it (or watch it) before you see Episode II (if you see it that is).

Another good choice would be Ocean's 11.

I went with Oceans 11.
It's a good film, plus you can probably get the best deal on it, out of the ones you have listed.

Episode One is the best DVD I own out of 140 and the best I have seen in sound and picture quality. Fifth Eliment is an awesome DVD too.

Voted Episode I. A poor movie, but a good DVD. Now is as good of time as any.

The best movie on the list is Fifth Element, but it is barebones and I don't encourage anybody to buy barebones DVDs.

I find Friday the 13th movies to be dreck. Same with Naked Gun.

Watched Ocean's 11 last night. Rent it first. I was unimpressed. Didn't get to the extras though, 2 commentaries looked like they might be good.

Get Star Wars: Episode I. You won't be disappointed. Ocean's 11 was pretty good, but I didn't impress me that much. I liked the original more.

Of those movies, my wvote would unhesitatingly go to The Fifth Element.

As for it being barebones .. what do you repeatedly watch on a DVD .. the movie or the extras ?? My guess is that you watch the extras at most once ... and the movie is actually what you're after.

I'd pick up the Naked Gun 3-pk. Very good repeat viewing potential.

Fifth Element, but if you DTS capabilities I would definitely get the Superbit. It's worth the extra $$$.

I voted for Episode 1.

I like The Naked Gun, but didn't think much of the sequels.
If you like Friday the 13th Part 2, I recommend buying Mario Bava's Twitch of the Death Nerve instead.

Ft13th2 basically stole every single murder scene from that film.

Go with The Naked Gun Trilogy. You can't go wrong with Frank Drebin.

Definitely Friday the 13th, but forget about #2. Get #8. You haven't seen Jason until you see him take Manhattan.

Episode 1. The movie's got VERY mixed reviews, but there's one thing everyone agrees on: it's one freaking heck of a DVD. Highly recommended.
