Yes Symphonic DVD.

Anyone seen or heard anything on this one yet?

Looking forward to this one very much, as it was an excellent tour.

The Yes website currently has it as June 18, but I have noticed that the release date keeps changing - it was April, they May, now June.

Also, it is listed as having a DTS track. Must admit, I have never seen any other music vid with DTS, though admittedley I do not have many.

Can this be right?

It may be a cultural divide thing I know, but I don't understand that last reply at all.

Hey, I'm English - help me!

JFM,
Yeah, not sure what that reply meant either. Anyway, I've been wondering about that Yes DVD myself. DVD Empire has two different listings for it, one called "Symphonic Live" and one called "Live in Amsterdam". One is listed as 2 hours long, the other 3 hours long. And both have different release dates, but I believe they're both the same. The first one is scheduled for May 21st. So I don't know what to believe.

Symphonic is a maker of cheap consumer electronics...

Dunno anything about this disc but I'm a casual Yes fan... Well, fan of the Yes Album through Tales From Topographic Oceans period. I really just wanted to chime in and say that there are quite a few music releases with DTS tracks...

Was this filmed on their last tour?

Supposedly being released on June 18, Yes Symphonic Live was recorded last year in Amsterdam when Yes toured with an orchestra. The DVD allegedly includes DD 5.1 & DTS soundtracks

Setlist:

Overture
Close To The Edge
Long Distance Runaround
Don’t Go
In the Presence of
Gates of Delirium
Steve Howe Guitar Solo:
- Lute Concerto in D Major,
2nd Movement
- Mood For A Day
Starship Trooper
Magnification
And You And I
Ritual
I’ve Seen Good People
Owner of a Lonely Heart
Roundabout

Some other concert DVDs with DTS tracks:

the Who - Live at the Royal Albert Hall
Peter Frampton - Live in Detroit
Steely Dan - 2 Against Nature
Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
Paul Simon - You're The One
Moody Blues - Hall Of Fame
Elton John - Greatest Hits Live
Neil Young - Red Rocks live, at least one other whose title I don't recall
there are others...
