RCA RT2500 receiver and speakers, any good? other recommendations in that price range?
http://www.rca.com/product/viewmodellist/browseproduct/0,2589,CI700022,00.html?
I want DD and DTS, a system that includes speakers and a receiver is also a must, just because I don't want the added hassle of having to shop for speakers too

Well i have the lower end model in my room and isn't that bad for sound, i wish i had DTS but this system does have it. My friend thinks he might purchase the system this week or next week.
Here a couple of reviews from buyers at Future Shop (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/ProdDetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS03826025&catid=19701&nAllReviews=true&logon=&langid=EN&dept=10&WLBS=fs%2Dweb6&biasid=7B2090BFE43B4D2EB598B0A1CCE7C994#ViewReviews)

Personally I would check out the Kenwood HTB-544 at that price range or the Yamaha YHT-18 (I think that is the model number, unless they came out with a new version). The Yamah is going to have a better and more solid receiver than the Kenwood.

Mike,
Almost everyone makes a model like this at $399. I would go and listen to a few, Best BUy and Circuit carry many. A caution is that they are almost always set up wrong. So check the receiver for speaker settings.
There is one I could recommend but I am biased
Lets just say it has the coolest mounting for the sats ;)
