Worst Sampled song

I wanted to do this one because i heard some chick on the radio (don't know who) who had the john courger beat from "jack and dianne" but singing "i think i am in love with you". I wanted to cry since this woman was distroying a classic. Anybody know any others.

That was Jessica Simpson, and I agree, it's a horrible song that lessens the entertainment of the original.

Puff Daddy (or P. Diddy to all da brothas out there!) always samples songs, and makes the originals less entertaining. "I'll be missing you" and "P.I.D.D.Y" are two examples. They were alright at first, but I couldn't even take listening to the originals after a while.

Third Bass' (remember them?) Pop Goes The Weasel.

Lazily sampled from Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer.

Blecch.

Shaggy's "Angel" manages to decimate "Angel of the Morning" and "Brown Eyed Girl" in one fell swoop.

what song did that sample?

remeber vanilla ice trying to say that he made up the bass line for ice ice baby when he really lifted it from "under pressure" by queen and david bowie.

I'd have to go with any Puff Daddy song too.

On a side note, I picked up the cd from that girl who rides through the streets playing the piano and it has a cover of Paint It Black on there. It's actually really good. Some songs are so good they're just impossible to butcher.
