Review Wanted Batman Returns

I have enjoyed this movie for so many years after taping it off of pay per view. But unfortunatly for me, the tape gave way about 2 weeks ago. I know it is bare bones and it costs 19.99. How is the video and sound quality for this movie.

Its worth a purchase. Its an old disc, but the 5.1 isnt bad at all. The picture quality is sure as hell better than a pay per view tape. Plus, Batman Returns is a good movie! Better than Batman if you ask me.

plus at one point; the tape flips to an old poor quality episode of the M J Fox show from the 80's. Do you get the trailer on the disc.

Are there any major details that you are missing in the pan and scan version.

Picture and sound both seem pretty positive, especially since this is an early DVD release. The image would likely look better with modern compression techniques, but I doubt anything would improve the fairly impressive sound. Extras are scanty - some text notes, no trailer. No idea what gets cut from the P&S version - never watched it. Anyway, good purchase if you like the movie - and no MJFox on display anywhere!

That is my favorite Live action Batman. I had intially been waiting for a SE but I broke down and put it on the list for this past christmas. The picture is really good and the sound is very good ( It even has 5.1) as well. I would certainly recommend the purchase, which is certainly a good price.
