Help identifying an old techno song
There was a Techno song popular around 1988 or so, and the lyrics are simply
"new york, new york, new york"
"new york, new york, new york"
[indistinquishable]
"city of intriguement"
"city of excitement"
[indistinquishable]
"be the heart of it"
"feel the heart of it"
"new york, new york, new york"
"new york, new york, new york"
..downtown, uptown, chinatown...
"city of the people"
"city of decievers"
...manhattan, bronx, broadway...
"new york, new york, new york"
"new york, new york, new york"
And so on. Since a big thing is the way it sounds, not the actual lyrics, I've linked the song here.
Any ideas what this song could be named or who the artist is? I'd like to hear more of their work.

The track in question is "New York, New York" by Microchip League. It's quite a good track. I have it on the original Razormaid vinyl press which is incredible. In fact your post made me drag it out! Anyways, this is one of few tracks I have yet to put on cd so I can't help you with a copy at the moment.

Thanks. I actually have a copy of the track -- but the person that gave it to me didn't know what it was called or who it was by, and since I ripped it off a CD, it's not like the mp3 had a name either.
It's a totally kick-ass track. I was very happy to find it again.
