London Symphony Orchestra

I don't know how popular this thread is going to be, but I thought I'd let you guys know that I got to see them in concert here in Birmingham last night.
They did a Hollywood theme song show and played things like "Star Wars," "Indiana Jones," "Schindler's List," "Jurassic Park," "Rudy," "Rocky," "James Bond," "Harry Potter," etc. It was a really enjoyable concert. For some reason they are only doing about three shows in the U.S.--Birmingham, Nashville (I think), and New York. Kindof strange why they'd come to Birmingham before going to bigger cities.

The only thing they did that confused me was replay songs for the encore. I've never heard that done before. For the encore they replayed "Indiana Jones" and "Star Wars".

Was John Wlliams conducting?

I saw John conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra 3 years ago doing all of his movie scores. Excellent show.
