...ahh... I own this movie on LaserDisc (which includes a very entertaining running commentary by director George Sidney, as well as a couple of deleted scenes)...
...if the new DVD is half as good (and why shouldn't it be?) as the other 'classic' MGM Technicolor musicals[*] released by WB you have nothing to fear...
[*] ...e.g. Anchors Aweigh, Annie Get Your Gun, On The Town... - two thumbs and two big toes all the way up, I say!
