I really enjoyed this witty comedy. It is worth getting, you can get it from CH as a fulfillment. I give them film 8/10, since there is a lesson to the story.

I rented this back when it was first available on DVD and enjoyed it, just not enough to own.... there are some great laughs in it.
The movie is very funny and touching. Steve Zahn is slightly underrated as he gives winning performances in even the worse of movies.
6.5/10

Rent it first, see how you like it and then make a decision.

I got it sight-unseen from CH and loved it. The DVD is very well done. It is a Miramax Collector Series and features some deleted scenes and a commentary track. As for the movie itself, it is a very enjoyable, witty comedy with wonderful performances all around. Steve Zahn and William H. Macy give wonderful performances.

I didn't expect much from the cover art and synopsis on the back of the box .. but I was pleasantly surprised. It is funny and a really likeable movie and definitely worth renting. As for buying ?? hmm .. I doubt it will ever be rated as a Great Must See Movie .. but definitely rent it. You may very well enjoy it.

Dissenting opinion: I thought it was pretty weak. Little more than "Three's Company" in indie film rags. Good cast, bland execution. Nice DVD for the most part, though...
My friends enjoyed it; I thought it was weak. Predictable, nothing really new.
