- WHICH "Region 2"? ... Region2/Japan DVDs - which are NTSC-encoded?
- OTHER "Region 2" areas? ... these include Western European countries (the UK, France, Germany, etc.) , Near Eastern countries, and the Republic Of South Africa - the DVDs in these Region2 countries are PAL-encoded!

° German Director Tom (Lola rennt) Tykwer's latest movie Der Krieger und die Kaiserin (released 2001) starring his SO Franka Potente has been released as a very generously endowed German DELUXE 2 DISC EDITION (on the WB label, in a SCANAVO keepcase) that boasts an anamorphic 2.35:1 transfer of the 130-minute movie, two German (only!) running commentaries, German (only!) DD 5.1 and dts 5.1 soundtracks, optional German (only!) subtitles (feature only!), as well as optional German (only!) captions for the HoH...
