Thank God it's Thursday!
Has anyone here ever heard of these guys? I just bought their album, and they sound pretty good. At the store they were billed as a bunch of different things- similar to the Deftones, a cross between Dinosaur Jr and The Smiths (I thinkthey said), and "an angry Robert Smith of The Cure". I definitely hear the Dinosaur Jr influence, but I don't know the Deftones very well, so I can't comment on that, but very cool anyways!

I just saw these guys a couple days ago in NJ and they put on a good live show. I wasn't too impressed by the CD though, aside from U(IACC) and Cross Out The Eyes, none of the songs really jumped out at me. I also find the singers voice to get annoying after awhile.
If you like the emo music with a guy screaming back up vocals give Finch and Thrice a try. I prefer both of these guys a lot more. Perfection Through Silence by Finch and In Years To Come by Thrice are good tunes and worth checking out.

I like Thursday, but I have to be in the mood for them. As Nosebleed mentioned -- check out Thrice -- they rule. Imagine if Thursday was a little more hardcore.
Personally, I would have recommended "A Torch to End all Torches" or "See You in the Shallows" by Thrice.
Finch is pretty good too.
