Coldplay's new cd announced

From their website:

"Finally I'm allowed to say - the new album will be called 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' and is expected around July/August. Song titles will probably include:

In My Place
The Scientist
Daylight
A Whisper
God Put A Smile Upon Your Face
A Rush of Blood to the Head
Amsterdam
Politik
Warning Sign

There's also a new one on the way which hasn't got a title yet but I reckon will be my favourite coldplay song so far. We're hoping to start playing gigs again around June. Details will be announced first on this website."

I'm stoked

According to NME, if this album doesnt do well, they are going to call it quits. Mind you, it doesnt help a UK band when last past US tours were sporadic and not very well planned out.

Here is the link to the article Giles is refering to: http://www.nme.com/news/101435.htm

I don't take much stock in a statement like this especially when many a brash band has proclaimed this same sacrficing of themselves rather then future mediocrity....Also (for whatever its worth) they also have just won a grammy...They are a young band with many years ahead---possibly

Thanks for the link, I was to lazy to post it. I agree, such a defeatist attitude comes off as egotistical.
