Should I pick up Amped today?

Ok here is my question. Right now I have the following games for my X Box
Halo
Max Payne
Tony Hawk 3

I love Tony Hawk 3 and have SSX and SSX tricky as well as Tony Hawk 3 on the PS2.

Any ideas? I am looking for lots of replay value like Tony Hawk.

Absolutely. One of the best most underrated Xbox games there is.... Tons of replay value and very deep with a nice steep learning curve. Don't get frustrated if you don't get through the game in 3 days like SSX Tricky. Take breaks when you feel frustrated and come back later and you'll do better.

I am not a skating/rollerblade/board fan so I don't care for games like Amped. Since you asked about replay value I have heard that Rallisport has awesome replay value. I am getting it today or tomorrow so hopefully I will know soon myself.

I have sold or traded every game I have had for my Xbox so far except Halo, Wreckless (waiting until there is something better but I love games like this) & Simpsons Road Rage (huge Simpsons fan as well as Crazy Taxi). Max Payne was one of the best games I have owned for the Xbox but I sold it since it lacked what you mentioned - replay value.

I agree 100% about Max Payne. I had a blast playing it the first time but not much there for replay. At least Halo has deathmatch. I am thinking about getting Railisport as well, it sounds like a lot of fun.

You can find pretty cheap at Half.com I believe. The snow effects are amazing and once you get further the levels are gigantic.

it depends on if you like sim style snow boarding or arcade style snowboarding. i happen to like Tricky more than Amped, but thats because the crazy ticks and stuff you pull in tricky are more up my ally. Amped has great graphics, controls and levels, but you can't get the ridiculously arcade style air that you can in tricky. you can't go wrong with Amped though, it is a great game.

Well, I got Rallisport today and...it is awesome. Totally addictive gameplay & super graphics. One of the best games I have played on the Xbox so far (and I have played a bunch). I normally prefer fleeing from cops games instead of racing but this game is definitely worth checking out!

Cool man I will check it out. Amped is amazing. I can see many hours will be spent on the mountain.
