Not that date, but I'm planning on catching this tour when it hits San Diego in August.

Great line-up. I've been wanting to see Deep Purple for years, and now I'll get the chance (even if Jon Lord isn't in the band anymore).

And I'm a HUGE Dio fan, so that's a big plus.

I might even stick around for the Scorpions.

I imagine this will be hitting all the sheds this summer. I hope I can make it.

Who is in Deep Purple nowadays anyhow?

The current Deep Purple line up is:

Ian Gillan: Vocals
Ian Paice: Drums
Roger Glover: Bass
Steve Morse: Guitar (PHENOMENAL player)
Don Airey: Keyboards

This line-up, from all accounts, sounds great!

I sure hope this comes to Minneapolis. I'd love to go.

Is Dio playing at all the shows? I just checked on ticketmaster and for the Concord show and some others it only listed Deep Purple and the Scorpions. Anyone have any more info?
