Which baseball game for GCN?

I am getting one tonight, which one should I get, All Star 2003 or Home Run King? I have read that Home Run King does not have a Franchise mode, which would suck. For anyone that has played either game, how is pitching handled for a 2 player game? When one player is pitching, does the other player know where the ball is going?

Well, I've played All Star Baseball 2003, and frankly, I wasn't that impressed. I think Acclaim had the finest baseball franchise on any platform at any time with All Star Baseball on the 64, but maybe I'm just expecting more on the GC. Anyway, during play, the pitcher first decides what pitch to use, then where to place it. A pitch aid (that's what its called) shows up in the batter's strike zone indicating where the pitcher's aiming. I only know one person who can compete with me at the game and we always play with the pitch aid off.
