I have been holding out on buying this part of my HT till this model came out. At $530 suggested retail price I wonder what it will go for. Well let me know what you guys think.

I'm a happy 575-X owner. I'm sure that this unit should be comparable (with the added bonus of 6.1)

My guess would be $499

This receiver should be a great choice for those looking for the newest sound formats at a very good price.

I was almost going to wait for this myself, but it does not have pre-outs for all channels which is a big no no in my book (especially for a receiver retailing for over 500 bucks). It locks you in with the internal amps and does not allow you you to expand in the future, which I am looking to do. Other than that though, in a smaller sized room, it should give you everyhting you need.

Rumor has it that the 600 will be $450 at Circuit City, which means it should be even cheaper at other places. It will be an excellent buy, if it has the same quality as the previous models.
