Center Speaker Making Noise

My center speaker is making a constant low noise. I have to twist around the fiber optic cord (at the receiver end connection)from time to time to make the noise go away. Is it something wrong with the cord or the receiver or the speaker? It's really reducing the joy of watching movies.

Please help.

First, try another fiber optic cable. It sounds like that's probably what's wrong.

Second, if you have the same problem with a new cable, it could be the receiver's input. If you're adventuresome, remove the receiver's cover and check the connection to see if it's loose. Otherwise, you'll have to take it to a repair facility.

Best of luck.
