This is a really fun game, but damnit, why couldn't they have made it a little easier to negotiate the cross railing when you're on the roofs? Every damn time I try to skid across one, I fall off because I don't hit it just right. And then starts the "Hut hut hut hut fire!"

Yeah I never got very far in this game because it was so stinking hard.
I remember one level that had a 3 tags high up on a wall and you had to do a wall skid to get them all (it was in a junkyard).
Then there was the level where you had to tag 3 rival skaters 10 times each. I did that about 40 times before I finally got it.
I'm a wuss when it comes to these arcade type games. I never understood why repition is supposed to be fun. Same with 'Crazy Box' in Crazy Taxi. That got old REAL quick.

After I accidentally erased my friends saved game, I had a little motivation to beat the game (did it in a week and a half). Awesome stuff.
In the junkyard, it's pretty easy to hit the highest tag by just jumping off the warehouse roof and spraying as you fall.
But yeah, the tag the enemies levels are all relatively easy except for the guys in the white jumpsuits. The other teams have shorter patterns that bring them round and round in a shorter time, but those guys are faster and their route is longer. Still, the time limit is long enough that it shouldn't really be an issue. It did bug me a few times to begin with though.

The second version cleared up a lot of these problems. You no longer have to worrying about the police, it's a lot easier to grind, the levels a bigger and better. The sequel is wonderful.
