Review: Breakdown

DVD Talk Legend
As you already know the movie itself is a good suspense thriller. The DVD is a basic WS no-frills edition, but no word of anything better means that is your only choice for now. If you can grab a good deal it's worth owning, but it's non-anamorphic and just a trailer for extras.

For a non-anamorphic transfer, BREAKDOWN really holds up well.
I was shocked how good it actually looked over my Toishiba HDtv. I would pick up this current edition as Paramount has not indicated a re-issue anytime soon.

Wow, it's like deja vu all over again. I just read this exact same post in the thread right above this one. Like I said, if you're buying your DVDs for nudity and swearing, look for something with more than an R rating. Know what I mean?
