That is a nice website and some great theaters.

As I am getting prepared to build one of my own, I use that sight among others to get ideas.

Gett'in ready...

Yeah I like that site too... We are moving to our new house in May and I've got the OK to turn 1 of the rooms into a dedicated HT. Just need the projector, screen, theatre seats, curtains and I think I am good to go...

I'm finishing up my home theater room, but wish I saw those pictures beforehand. I think there are some things I would have done differently. I did manage to get a good projector and a Stewart Grayhawk screen though.

Deeeeyyaaaaaam! Wish I had the bones to do a theater room like that.

My wife and I just bought a house and it has a 23X24 unfinished area in the basement. I'm taking 17x23 of it to build a home theater. I'm excited as he-ll. I picked up some used theater seats from a local high school. They were actually from an old theater. The school bought them and is now upgrading to bigger seats. $3.00 a pop! If any of you are close to SW-Missouri, they still have some left. They would need some minor cleanup. They are heavy as heck. I don't intend to use them as my main seating. More for looks, kids, and friends. Just not comfortable for a 2 hour stretch.

OH MY GOD. Some of those are simply stunning. I hang out at Home Theater Forum a lot, so I have seen a few of those. But others there are simply spectaular. Man I wish I had cash like that. Oh, well.....here's a link to mine. NOTHING nearly as nice, but semi-respectable I think.

those are just too damn cool

if i had a HT room like that, and had my game systems hooked up to it.. before games and movies.. I would have to keep a fridge and toilet in there.. because I would never leave

although my wife looked at the pictures.. and liked several of them.. and said that it wouldnt be too hard to do, when we finally have money and buy a house

If we do that, then I think I've found my new home.

I'm all for these rooms but something about them just seems odd. They all have great setups but they seem so cold and "plain"

Since I've been able to have a "movie room" I've tried my best to make it a fun and inviting room that people can be comfortable in. Granted my hardware isn't up to the level that these are at but I have a great time in my room with what I have.

Just my .02
