XBOX: Amped v. Tony Hawk 3

I bought amped last week and love it, and was thinking about getting Tony Hawk 3 this week. How similar are they? If the only difference is that one board's on snow, and the other one's on pavement, should I even bother getting TH3?

Definitely pick up Tony Hawk 3. It is too good of a game for anyone to miss out on. In my opinion, you should have picked up SSX instead of Amped, but thats just me. Definitely go pick up Tony Hawk 3 though, you won't regret it.

Amped absolutely blows the boring and overrated SSX out of the water, but that's just me. Great choice going with Amped. I found Tony Hawk 3 kinda boring, it's not as good as Amped either. It's good, but not great.

Similar is style, in that you visit various locales and unlock more by pulling tricks. THPS3 incorporates a lot of level specific tasks that are quite fun as well.

I have to agree though, I give SSX Tricky the edge. Its far more polished and fun, mainly because you get tricking and fast-paced racing.

Hope you didn't go to Best Buy yet, because I just picked up Tony Hawk 3 at Target for $44.88.

Doh! Too bad the best buys all around me were sold out. No patience for a raincheck, either.

I pickedup THS3 this weekend, and it kicks some serious butt. I tend not to like the snowboarding games that much... That being said I do like Amped (Rented) and have yet to check out SSX. Tony Hawk, is one of those games thats kinda sweet and is a must buy for the xbox! The graphics are just amazing!

Hope that helps
