Those are some good prices...on some bad games.

Anyways, I saw Castlevania for $20 at my local Cicuit City today. I've heard this game has been selling for that price recently but I had never seen it in stock anywhere until now. Also, I think Super Mario World was $25 at Best Buy this week. Not a bad deal for those who missed out on BB's better deal a few weeks ago.

I bought Mario advance today at BB for 25. Can't decide on whether to open it or not. I still have the SNES version sitting in my den.

Earthworm jim isn't great, no save feature, but i never owned it back in the day, just rented it alot. So it's worth 7 to me.

IMO, open it! It's different enough from the SNES version to feel like a totally new game....

Good call. I picked up Super Mario Advance when I ordered from them a few days ago. I was tempted to pick up a Pokemon game too, but I'm afraid that's just not my thing.

Man that seems pretty good ... anybody try Boxing Fever yet? I would have held off on Ready to Rumble if I could have picked that one up.

Some deals that I've gotten recently at EB (new):

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo - $19.99
Final Fight One - $21.99
Gradius Galaxies - $19.99

FWIW, all of those games are awesome, and I recommend them to everyone, especially at those prices

Did you get that Final Fight One in store? I just came back from the store and they sold it to me for $24.99. still a good price, but I feel ripped off for some reason.

Yup, got it in store. You know how some EB's overprice their games over retail prices (i.e. $50 games being $52.99...)? Well, if you have one of those stores it was probably $25. My local EB has "normal" prices and that's where I got it for $22. I remember back in the good old days when all EBs used to have the same prices. Then about 3 or 4 years ago they started boosting prices at stores that weren't doing well...

I see... yeah, i got one of those overpriced stored. I thought all the EB are the same. The guy at the store told me that the price difference between the store and the website is for the shipping. I told him I knew someone else got it in store for $21.99, and he said that's not possible and all other store are the same price.

I believe they jack up their prices only when there's no other competition in the mall. That's what I heard from an EB manager anyway.
