want to buy:non problematic dvd player
I am giving my mom my old Pioneer DV-333 dvd player. I have had no problems with it, except it won't play Argento's Phenomenon dvd which I really want to have in my collection. I am wondering if I should stick with Pioneer or should I go with Panasonic, or Sony.
Any thoughts??
Thanks.

I have always said to go with the Panasonic RP-91K but the new Pioneer elite looks very good. It plays DVD-Audio, HD-CD, and SACD along with DVD's.

I've been using a Panasonic model RV31K for about 8 months now...It seems to be well built & it reads everything I throw at it...Only 2 minor complaints...sometimes it pauses for a split second on dual layer discs & it doesnt have a zoom feature...I've been thinking about getting a new one as well...I'm looking at Toshiba...JVC & Sony's...
