Try 'em.

To receive the lowest total price guarantee, simply email the URL linking to the product information page showing the lower total price of an individual DVD (including shipping & handling charges) to [email protected] and we will match the price.
Please put PRICE MATCH in the subject line.

Due to fluctuations in exchange rates DeepDiscountDVD.com will not price match Canadian etailers.

The lowest *total price guarantee applies only to like products sold at other online retailers of DVDs during the same time period. DeepDiscountDVD.com will not match competitors' coupons. The guarantee does not apply to items sold at auction, trading or "swap" sites or those sold by individuals not qualifying as retailers. The guarantee does not apply to items sold at offline retail locations. Product sent via an expedited shipping method or to international addresses (including Canada) is not covered as part of the lowest total price guarantee.

We reserve the right to limit quantities.

Total Price

DeepDiscountDVD.com determines the lowest total price of an individual DVD as follows:

Product Price + Standard Shipping & Handling = Total Price*

*Sales tax charged for items shipping to an Illinois address not included in the "Total Price Guarantee".

Let me know how you make out.

Sometimes that update the site, then other times they just offer the pricematch in email, which you need the tracking #, to order over the phone.

But, they always respond.

I've only tried their price-matching once and was impressed.

I ordered HARRY POTTER at their original price of $18.99. When I saw that Buy.com offered that title at $16.99 (including shipping), I e-mailed them with the URL.

In the meantime, DDD lowered their price to $16.89. Instead of matching Buy.com's price, DDD lowered my order to their new price which was even slightly lower than Buy.com's.

This is very typical of DDD. They are great in the customer service dept. To have a fully-staffed customer service dept. with real people discussing problems with your orders by phone is just amazing when compared to other online vendors out there!

Yeah, I am NOT a big fan on calling in orders on the phone. In fact, I hate using the phone unless I absolutely have to.

It saves them since they don't have to give the same low price to everyone and they still honor their "guarantee"...but I am not a big fan of ordering over the phone. Giving out CC#, etc.

By the way, if you want in on the exclusive order, tell them to price-match "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" with DVD Express. Maybe if enough people do it, they'll just drop the price to $17.whatever that they quoted for me. It'd be less work for them.
