Price difference for presales and after?

What's the normal price difference in a DVD presale and after? Particularly for Amazon and DDD?

Well I can give you some details for a boxed set order I placed at DDD.

It was the Queer As Folks Complete First Season (Showtime) boxed set.

The pre-order price I paid was first $75.99, then I checked one day and it had dropped to $69.34 (which is what I paid), but after a day or so it went back up to the $75.99 price. It is now listed as $84.60 and the set has an MSRP of $119.99.

Hope that help you.

For the titles that I've shopped for recently, the preorder price stays exactly the same after release date at DDD.
