How to hook up two subs to HT

I just aquired a second sub from a friend and would like to add it behind my couch perhaps as a "bass shaker." Does anyone know how to hook up two subs? Do I put them in series or something? Both of my subs have speaker inputs and left and right RCA inputs. I'm currently using the left RCA input on my first sub for my system. Thanks. J

You can buy a V-shaped line splitter at Radio Shack for about $3. You can feed both subs to that and feed the splitter to your receiver. I might be doing the same shortly.

Thanks!! Thought about that, just wasn't sure if it would work. Jeremy
