I'm a sucker for deep sea movies. I love em! This movie is definatley a B movie. It's about on par with 'Leviathan.'
If you like underwater gore movies, you'll like this one.
Of course a movie like "The Abyss" is on a completely higher level.

I saw this when it came out and really liked it. It's a monster thriller that delivers as it should and the creature is pretty nifty. There are some familiar and likeable actors in this film including Nia Peoples and Cindy (Ferris Bueller's mom) Pickett.
The only problem with this DVD is that it should be in the full widescreen 2.35:1 ratio (the DVD is missing a lot of picture info on the sides, ya know) and those great trailers and TV spots should have been included.
Call it a missed opportunity for a really fun movie.
