Hey all!

For all the Matchbox Twenty Fans out there...Image is putting out their first DVD...Storytellers from VH1! I wish they would put out the other concert video on DVD!

Here's the info!

Platinum hitmakers Matchbox Twenty hit the stage and tell the tales for the groundbreaking VH1 series, "Storytellers." Starting with their 1996 debut, "Yourself or Someone Like You," Matchbox Twenty has built a devoted following that continues to grow with each new record and tour. Filmed at New York City's Chelsea Piers, Matchbox Twenty perform their many hits including a stripped-down version of the timeless "3 A.M." with Rob Thomas at the piano. Songs: Bent, Mad Season, Black and White People, Push, If You're Gone, Crutch, Lonely Weekend, You Won't Be Mine, Rest Stop, 3 AM.

64min Dolby Digital AND DTS tracks.

I'm sort of conflicted. This aired on TV, yet it was a music concert. Hmm... moving to Music Talk.

I love the 3 am acoustic version. I like it better then the original version. I'm happy to see them use more of the Mad Season CD songs then the first album. As i think the songs were better organized and sound was easy to listen to all the way through. I have to check tomorrow or next week for the DVD. Thanks for the info. Can't wait for their new album, whenever it comes out

Any news on upcoming VH1 STORYTELLERS?

I was flipping through the channels this morning and stumbled upon VH1 STORYTELLERS: DAVID BOWIE. What a great show.
Any word of this show coming to DVD, as there seems be a number of STORYTELLER dvd's available? How about the DURAN DURAN one as well? Anyone...?

I'd eat rancid crow for the Tom Waits Storytellers. I've been passing out wolf tickets ever since they teased us with it but a few times.

I missed the David Bowie one. I wanted to see it too. Maybe I'll catch a rerun if they air it.

Guitar_God it's a special "rock weekend" on VH1. Maybe they'll run it again tonight. Check out your local listings or just go to VH1.com for a program schedule. Tape it or replaytv it. It's worth watching, but a far better DVD, as the VH1 show is edited. The full show that Bowie performed was 5 songs longer. I know this as I was at the show.

The Bowie show was great. I just want them to release the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds show. They could make alot of money from these, why don't they release them? I guess it could be some kind of rights issues or something like that.

I agree with the Dave Mathews/Reynolds being really good, Reynolds is an excellent very underrated guitarist.

I also thought the Billy Idol performance was very good as well.

Anyone have a list of VH1 storytellers dvd's?

I searched the VH1 website, came up with nothing, also seached DDD, they only list two (Billy Idol and Matchbox Twenty). Does anyone know if there are any additional dvd's that have been released from this series? Thanks.
