Witness
Just a quick note... finally got around to seeing Witness with Harrison Ford. Great movie, but lousy transfer. Daylight scenes were fine but the dark scenes had so much grain on them, my wife actually asked if this was a DVD or a video tape!
The only feature (other than the trailer) was a short interview with the director.
For $11.99 I guess I shouldn't complain, but even for a bare bones disc this movie deserved better and I would have gladly paid a little more for a better transfer...
but at least it was widescreen anamorphic....

Witness is one of my favorite movies.
I would love to see a special edition of it.
