Siouxsie & The Banshees Hit The Road; Join Coachella Lineup

Siouxsie Sioux will get her Banshees back together for four shows this spring, including an appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival (allstar, Feb. 11) on April 27.
The cult favorites, broken up since 1996, will reunite beginning April 19 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Shows in Chicago (April 21 at the Vic Theater), San Francisco (April 25 at the Warfield Theater), and Indio, Calif., (Coachella) will follow, according to her official Web site (www.thecreatures.com). The reunion will include original members Sioux and bassist Steve Severin, along with longtime drummer Budgie, among others.
Since their breakup, Siouxsie and Budgie (who are married) have continued on in the form of the Creatures. The band's last album, U.S. Retrace, surfaced in 2000.
