I went w/ All Star Baseball, because it comes out first, and I have never been disappointed w/ ASB.

well, Game informer has WSB 2K3 confirmed as a Gamecube and Xbox title with no mention of a PS2 version. I haven't been reading GI for very long though, so I am not sure of their reliability

Personally I've never really been disappointed with the Triple Play series so I'd have to say Triple Play 2003 would be my choice for the baseball games. Gamer out.

Sega has announced that its upcoming game World Series Baseball will be exclusive to the Xbox. Currently in development at Visual Concepts--the development house responsible for Sega's NFL and NBA franchises--World Series Baseball for the Xbox will feature a full franchise mode, new fielding animations, and new camera angles. In addition, Visual Concepts is improving facial expressions in the game by adding more than 50 new facial animations. The game will also have a two-man commentary team and the Cooperstown Collection--a selectable team made up of the 25 greatest players in history of baseball. The New York Yankees' Jason Giambi will be the official spokesperson for World Series Baseball on the Xbox, replacing Pedro Martinez.
"The combination of these two announcements is a great win for sports gaming enthusiasts," said Tom Nichols, group director of sports marketing at Sega. "Not only will Xbox gamers have an exclusive on the best baseball sim for this year, but they can also enjoy the most realistic Sega Sports baseball experience endorsed by one of the best players in the league. We will be looking to leverage Jason's expertise and knowledge inside World Series Baseball over the coming years in order to make the game not only the best looking and best playing, but also the smartest baseball video game on the market."
World Series Baseball is scheduled for release in May

Great News! I just hope it is better than 2k1...I was not a fan of that game.
