From XEN Gamers : According to sales data released today, approximately 123,000 Xbox units were sold within the console's first weekend of availability in Japan. Moreover, Xbox software reportedly sold at a rate of 1.58 units compared to hardware. For reference, Microsoft reportedly shipped 250,000 units to retailers for launch last week. Subsequent weekly deliveries of Xbox hardware are scheduled in Japan, though definitive shipment figures remain undisclosed. Microsoft forecasts worldwide Xbox sales at 5-7 million units by June 2002. The Xbox is scheduled for release in Europe on March 14th, where it's expected to retail for £299
