Y/C Correction / Gamma / Connections - Toshiba DVD Players

Could anyone tell me what the Y/C Correction and Gamma Adjustment features are on the Toshiba SD900E / SD9200 DVD Players. Should they be used? Are they a benefit on some transfers? What do they do?

Also, given the choice of RGB Scart and S-Video connection on the SD900 / SD9200 Players. Which one is the better for a clearer, sharper, more lifelike (filmlike) image?

Thank you,

Martin.

Sorry, I do not know the answer to your first question. In regards to your second question, use the RGB connection over the S-Video. It will produce a better picture.
