NCAA Basketball 2K3 by Sega?

cube.ign.com has this on their gamecube release dates as "TBA 2002." This was the first I've heard of this. Does anyone have any more info on this title?

I'm betting it will come out. They did a NCAA football game based on the NFL engine, so doing the same thing with a basketball game should be possible. Considering how great NBA2K2 is, I can't wait for a college basketball version.

It wasn't listed as "rumored" on IGN's release list. I also saw it mentioned again yesterday in an article (on Planet Gamecube I think) about Left Field becoming a third party developer. The article said that some of their employees who had worked on NBA Courtside had quit and went to work for Sega/Visual Concepts and were working on the GCN version of NCAA Basketball 2K3.
