Problems With Hacking My Samsung Player

I ordered the Family Guy Season 1 from amazon the other day, and it arrived this morning.

I had already tested the hack for the 709 player, and had it set up so that it would only read region 2 dvds - NO REGION ONE DVDS worked in my player under this setting.

Well I popped in The Family Guy, and it said it couldn't read the disc.

Can anyone help?

It says I'm confused.

I guess you needed to say that Family Guy is region 2. We don't necessarily know that offhand. I had to look it up. Now I'm not confused with your post.

Alright, sorry about that

I have a Samsung 709 player, and I have done the hack to make it play region 2, and it still doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps the DVD is PAL which they use in England (Is that where Family Guy DVD is onsale?) In the US our NTSC tvs wont view PAL My Apex can switch between PAL and NTSC maybe yours can too. Also if possible try disabling region coding all together if possible. These are just trouble shooting ideas maybe you thought of it alread. Hope it helped.
