Pre order at EB a controller extension cable for X-box

I have been waiting for this forever, while at least since I got my X-box. Now I will be able to sit on the couch and play. BEWARE - it will only work with original Microsoft controllers.

The XBox's controller cord is 9.8 feet. Most people don't need an extension.

I guess if you have a huge arse tv you need something like this, otherwise your couch is too far away from your tv!

I don't even need an extention when playing on my 55" Toshiba. At nearly 10 feet it's plenty long..........

Ah, finally! I've been looking for extensions. I play video games while on the treadmill, so I need at least another 10 feet to reach (my treadmill is behind the couch in my basement).

I admit, I'm more of a walker than a runner on the treadmill. It's just SO boring doing treadmill, I need something to keep me occupied. So playing a good full game of Madden while doing 3.5 mph on the treadmill - I work up a decent sweat AND get a little gaming in. Of course, I've mis-stepped and almost killed myself a few times...

Who makes this ext cord? I didn't couldn't find it when I looked at their site, but I know that Mad Katz is making one and I don't think they would make a cord not compatible with their own controller.

My guess is it connects at the safety plug. I didn't know that the 3rd party controllers didn't have the safety plug. I don't know if I'll be getting one (3rd party controller) either since my 5 yr old has caught her foot on the cord running through the den about 5 times and the disconnect works flawlessly. I like how it pauses the game when it gets disconnected.
