Well, i see that Zoom makes an internal PCI cable modem that sounds interesting. Anyone have any comments on this or know of any other brands that have an interenal cable modem? I assume there are no downsides to this.
I am considering going with Comcast, but have my doubts about spending $50+ for a net conenction. Would not even consider it, but we recently moved and my dial-up dropped to 19.2K! :( I was happy with the 45K I had before.
I have had cable before, but just could not justify the cost. Now it may become a necessity with my POOR dial-up connection.
Renting the modem is $5/month which is not bad, so I may just do that, but I do hat renting.
Thanks,
C. Ryan
