Acoustic Guitar Albums

I'm looking for some albums (and bands) based around acoustic guitar, maybe you guys could help me out. I'm not after classical guitar music, have some good stuff from there, but was hoping for something modern.

Pretty much anything goes: lyrical or not, band or solo...but i just want that acoustic guitar in it :)

Ben Lee was pretty much all acoustic in his albums (until the most recent).

I'm guessing you don't want just a guy and an acoustic guitar, but also bands that use them, so here's some of my band and song (names in brackets) suggestions.

Guster is one of my favorite bands. Two guys with acoustic guitars and a guy who plays hand percussion (mostly bongos). I really recommend all three of their albums.

The Gourds are another favorite. There's some electric guitar in their music, but it's mostly made with acoustic guitar and mandolin. Really rootsy Americana-style stuff.

Steve Stevens "Flamenco a Go Go" (Yes, that Steve Stevens).

Pierre Bensusan "Intuite" (more of a classical flavor, but with some world-music influence thrown in)

Alice in Chains "UNplugged" is one of the best acoustic albums hands down.

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds - Live at Luther College (AMAZING)

I also love downloading acoustic versions of modern rock tracks that are often recorded in studio, or impromptu at radio stations. Some of the great ones that come to mind

And certainly don't miss out on the brilliance of Richard Thompson's solo acoustic album "Small Town Romance". For great acoustic playing without vocals, check out Leo Kottke's "6 and 12 String Guitar". Also check out anything by Adrian Legg.

There was a fantastic acoustic album released year by the Boxhead Ensemble. It's instrumental with really nice layers of chiming strings. Definitely worth checking out.

Bob Dylan's MTV Unplugged album that was released in 1995. It's got the song "John Brown" which is supposedly not released on any other album.

Anyway...thats a good acoustic album....and my pair o' pennies worth.
