Problems replying to threads

Starting a few days ago, when I post at home, I've been getting the "Page Not Found" error when I've tried to reply to certain threads or create new threads. (I'm posting this from school right now... I actually wasn't able to create a new thread in here from home.) The page comes up after I hit the "Submit New Thread" or "Submit Reply" buttons. Because of the fact that I haven't been able to access my Hotmail Inbox at home, either (I either get the "Page Not Found" error or just get a blank page), and because I get the same error whether I'm using IE 6 or Netscape 6, I'm thinking that the problem lies either with my home computer or my ISP, and not with DVD Talk. All the same, I was wondering if the forum has been undergoing any recent maintenance/problems/etc., and/or if anyone could help me out with my problem. Thanks a bunch!

A longer post. Maybe it's the short posts that do work, and the longer ones don't work.

It's wonderful to have the benefit of hindsight. But sometimes, you just have to do the best with the intelligence and resources you have at the time. There have been plenty of situations where things that the U.S. government has done have come around to bite them in the butt... however, I can't imagine the 6

war feels, or that Americans never experienced war, reeks of the arrogance of which you seem to be accusing the US. There are many horrible ways to experience war. Being a civilian in a city that is being firebombed must have been horrible, and I cannot begin to imagine what the people in that city must have been going through. 6 line again

Okay, it seems like any of my posts longer than 6 lines don't work. Weird.

Static,

It kind of sounds like a problem with either your ISP's connection to the Internet or a problem with your software.

I'm going to copy this to the DVD Rom and Computer forum to see if anyone has any suggestions for you. However, one thing you could do would be to try to either reinstall or upgrade your browser.

But I'm thinking the likeliest fix is going to require doing some talking to your ISP. Do a tracert www.DVDTalk.com and send them a copy and tell them the problem you're having (information over a certain size is not getting through).

Good luck.
