Best Buy DVD Area Expansion

The West LA (Sawtelle/Pico) Best Buy has increased the display area for
DVDs by one row. It appears that they took an aisle away from VHS sales.
Doesn't appear that they have a bigger selection but have 40 copies of "The Matrix Revisited" instead of the 20 they had previously.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen a change at there Best Buy.

Its been a few months since i worked there, but the BB here did the same thing. There used to be two aisles of VHS (4 "sides") and then in September or October th VHS section was reduced to a single aisle. Probem was that after the reduction in shelf space the store kept getting large shipments of VHS so we had to cram all the VHS into this smaller area.

It was nice that the DVD section got expanded but it didn help pre-exsisting problems. (thats a whole story in itself) The funny thing is that despite this expansion the store still had (literally) 200 copies of "What Women Want" on DVD (this was like 2 months after its inital release)

Best Buy

Sorry, my feelings about BB are a long long novel in itself.
