DC games for Mad Catz Panther Controller

www.ebgames.com has the Mad Catz Panther Controller for $19.99. Air Force Delta is ordered and I am waiting for that one. I was wondering what other games would work for this controller. I tried centipede using the ball on the controller, but I could not get it to work. I think the controller will work with QuakeIII, so I am going to try out some of the first person shooters. Does anyone have this controller? How do you like it? What games will work with the track ball? And of course, what are your favorite flight games?

Suppose to work with Quake III arena, Unreal Tournament , star wars episode 1 racer, Vigilante 8, KiSS psycho circus, Railroad Tycoon II. ( i've only tried it on quake and unreal myself)
Note: that it has two modes standard mode and panther mode, the above games support panther mode(using the trackball as well as the stick.)Most flight games support standard mode (just the flight stick) armada, starlancer and air force delta are good examples
Also note it only has 1 expansion slot. so if you want some rumble and save games, you'll need to plug another controller in with a memory card to another port.
this is still a good deal for 20. If you have flight games and FPS this is the perfect add on to you DC

Thanks for the information. I will try out my Star Wars Racer and Vigilante 8 with the Panther. Those two games were not very high on my list of games, but I suspect that the Panther controller will change that.

The DC really lacks flight sim titles although the Panther is a great controller for the few that are available.
Aero wings
Aero Wings 2:Airstrike
Iron Aces
StarLancer
Air Force Delta

if you want to blow crap up get the last three if you want a flight sim get the first 2
Starlancer should be bundled with this controller it is the game to get of the ones listed.

They seem to be gone at outpost, if you got one I recommend the following games that are fully compatible.
Unreal Tournament
Quake III
Outtrigger
Kiss:Psycho Circus
Railroad Tycoon

Be careful The box says its compatible with SOLDIER OF FORTUNE it ain't I got this title and there is no Panther support anywhere despite the ad on the box, I called Madcatz the CR said they beta tested the game and it was ready to go but that when they pressed the "gold version"
they went back to the original, leaving out the online as well. There may be a couple other FPS that it is compatible with let me know if there are!

Been playing around with the Panther since Saturday. If you can find this thing pick it up. It's that good. The controls take a little time to adjust to, but once you got it, it's solid. So far I've only played Quake 3. Will try Unreal T. next.

I also recommend this peripheral -the glowing trackball, responsive flight stick, and well placed buttons make it a must buy. I have never been very good at First person shooters but I can go online with this and I am a contender finally! I still get my ass shot up but its more enjoyable and I get more frags for certain.
I wish it supported SOF like the box says it does oh well
The final insult is that the instructions include a mapout of the buttons for HALF LIFE ("ever get the feeling you've been cheated!")
I play Quake, UT, OT, Kiss, at night just to see the glowing blue ball.

If anyone is interested, there is a 'used once' one in ebay for $27/buy it now. I won't post a link because it's against the rules to do, but a search of 'mad catz panther' will find it. There are 3 others currently with no bids, but $65 price.

What is a 'good price' for this???
