Dreamcast VCD Player?

I was just surfing around on ebay and I saw a cd that you boot up your dc with that allows you to watch vcds. Is this ok? This wouldn't kill your DC would it? I just got mine in December and wanted to ask you guys since I don't know anything!

Not sure how many different brands there are, but the one I tried looked terrible. The video and audio had trouble staying in sync and the video would skip.

I've seen one kind that comes with a remote and I haven't tried that one so maybe its better.

The one I have is horrible. The sound is fine, but the video can't keep in in heavy action sequences.

Be careful if your DC was manufactured after a certain date it will not read the VCD disc or the VCDS themselves.
I think all units before Aug 2000 are fine but newer units won't read CDR. The DC VCD I have is worth about 5 bucks but it works. (Stick to DVD and use your DC for gaming)
