Highest magic level in Secret of Mana?
Once you have found all of the elementals, is 7:0 the highest your magic can go until you beat the game? I'm just wondering if I forgot to seal one of the mana seeds somewhere. I remember hearing there's an 8:99, but I'm guessing that's not until after the game. When I go into status, there are 8 mana thingies. Thanks for any help. i already looked at gamefaqs but couldn't find the answer.

Agreed. This game rocks! 
I remember fighting the dark ninjas on the outside of that spaceship near the very end of the level. They would leave some sort of treasure that would bring your mana to 8:99....

Never mind...after playing it some more myself, you can eventually get your magic up to 8:99 once you accomplish a crucial plot point.
