Can anyone post a review of the 1st season Highlander discs that are only available through the official site. I want to be sure the quality on them is good before i dish out that much cash.

I have the first season set and everything is fine as far as picture and sound are concerned. The extras, frankly, are nothing to write home about. They consist of Bill Panzer telling a few anecdotes and/or reminiscing after every episode and so called watcher screens which repeat the same info time after time. If you log onto the Highlander official site and go to the discussion board you can read the complaints. A few people seem to have had quality problems and nobody - including me - seems to have recieved the free gift certificate we were promised because of delays in shipping. If your'e a rabid fan, you'll probably find it well worth while as long as you get a good set. If your'e a casual fan or really into good extras, you'll probably be disappointed - especially at full retail price.
