It's a great movie. There are no special features other than trailers. The plot is very original and funny as hell. It is worth a purchase.

One of my favorites of all time!

Raising Arizona is one of the very few comedies I can watch over & over & over. It's a FANTASTIC movie--absolutely hilarious. Nicholas Cage & Holly Hunter are tremendous, and it's DEFINITELY worth a purchase! That said, the DVD treatment it received is not so good--not really any extras + 2.0 sound (though it's really a dialogue-driven movie, so that doesn't matter THAT much). I can only HOPE they'd do a SE of this someday, as it well deserves! It can usually be found for $14.99, so I say you can't go wrong.

Quirky comedy from the Coen Brothers. I happen to love it, but some people hate this brand of humor and just don't "get it." To each his own.

The script is great, and the actors do a tremendous job capturing the attitudes and mannerisms of the trailer-trash characters in a really funny way. John Goodman is excellent in this, as are Nicholas Cage and Holly Hunter.

I'd like to see a new SE DVD release, but the current version isn't too bad (although non-anamorphic).

At least give it a rent if you've never seen this movie.
