Which etailer to get HK DVDs?

It's my 1st time to venture into HK DVDs and I'm thinking of getting it either at Poker Industries or HKFlix. I found that Poker Industries has lower price so I'm incline to use them but want to know anybody's experience with them. thanks.

I've ordered from Poker on numerous occasions with no problems what so ever.

Just checked out www.dddhouse.com , prices aren't bad at all. What is the transit time on an order renaldow?

I may be interested in ordering from them as well.

Earlier this month I placed an order at Poker and DDDHouse on the same day. The Poker package arrived in about 4 days. The DDDHouse package arrived 5 days later (9 days total).

I've ordered from DDDHouse many times, and I've never had an order take more than 3 weeks to arrive here in Florida. The usual delivery time is 2 weeks.

If you're going to order from Poker, make sure you spend more than $50 to get Free Shipping and use the 10% Off coupon listed here:

I'm on the west coast and it usually takes 7-9 days. They're actually a little quicker than some domestic etailers as far as I'm concerned. Deepdiscountdvd.com takes about 4 days longer to reach me!

But what about other DVD dealers from HK?

This idea of buyng from HK is new to me. I hadn't considered it in the past because i was afraid to order anything from overseas.

As for who i have been using.

HKFlix

Their customer service is A+.

The only reason i have looked elsewhere is because Disney banned US stores from selling certain movies

It can vary by the retailer, and it depends on which shipping method you choose and how many discs.

Some stores have a system where you buy a certain # and they will send it Fed Ex for $6.99. That's a pretty good way as Fed Ex will give it a tracking # and you can see it move across the world to your doorstep.

I ordered 10 DVD's from DDDhouse.com and the shipping was about $15 US, coming by express mail.
If you're stuck between the decision of ordering between a couple of stores, the best thing to do is just add up each order and then go with who's cheapest. Often times the shipping cost is the key. A store with higher product prices may have much lower shipping costs, and a store with very cheap product prices might have very inflated shipping prices. I've seen stores that sell VCD's for about $3 each, but charge insane shipping costs.

So DDDHouse.com is a HK store that you guys highly recommend?

$15 isnt that bad for shipping, consideing that you save more than that on the price of the DVD's you purchase.

Are there any import taxes charged?

Where do i find this shipping info on the DDDHouse website?

And where is the link to send DDDHouse a e-mail?

I also buy hk dvd in that shop and their speed is really very fast,i got my order within a week every time and the price of their products are the cheapest among other stores...they have gift and they dont charge shipping fee also...

Had you bothered to ask Geoff, he might've been willing to give your online store adspace, but this tactic you're trying isn't going to help your store out any. The forum isn't for advertising... I already don't want to shop there.

...most expensive around? Give us a break and quit spamming your lousy site already!

Since you work for that store, buy DVD's there, and it takes 7 days to get them, don't you think that's a little outrageous? I mean, if I worked at a store and bought something there, I would expect the turn around time to be immediate. Since you work there, you must be in HK, and if their HK to HK shipping is 7 days, I'd hate to see what their HK to US shipping time is!

Shipping info is in the shopping cart.
The email address is on their website. Look around. Should we click the mouse buttons for you too?

Um, no.

Also forgot to add that there may be import fees charged. I've done quite a few orders and have never had to pay anything. Johnny has marked the packages as 'gifts' in the past, which I believe is illegal on his part but gets you out of paying for the fees.

I have read posts from people claiming to have to pay import fees for DVD's shipments from Canada as well as Hong Kong, but I personally never have.
