Some JAPANESE "Limited Edition LOVE" for You!

It plays DVD Region 2 just great! (the DVD Player announced yesterday)

The menus are in multi-language as well.

Oh, and don't forget my 'humble' setup

But the real question is: Does your mommy allow you to play dating simulators with the door closed?

Just yankin' ya, man. REALLY nice setup you have there.

Look at the Control Pad!!!!

Why is the japanise Xbox glittery? Is it like that or the girls that showcase the Xbox put some on it?

The Control Pad looks weird! I saw 8 buttons and there are probably 2 more behind it!!

What do you guys think about it????

It's got the same buttons as the US controller. They just changed the layout. It's also quite a bit smaller. I've used the Japanese controller, and I like it except for the placement of the B&W buttons(which I mentioned in another thread about the controller.)

The Japanese controller has the same 8 buttons and 2 triggers as the US controller, they are just layed out differently.

I haven't used it yet, so I'll reserve judgement about it until then.
However it isn't difficult to see that it would suck to play driving games where the rearview or 'lookback' is assigned to one of those buttons.

I get it. I forgot about the Start and Select buttons! Which are place below the left stick.

Are this controller pads compatible with the US Xbox?

I already have four controllers but I want a small one for other people who can't use the "big ones like other people say"

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that controller looks like a much improved version of the US one to me. I don't care for the US one but it looks like all of my complaints about it have been remedied in the Japanese model(including a REAL D-pad!).

Speaking of the Japanese controller.....
Does anyone know if it will be available in the U.S. at any store selling Xbox merchandise? Or is it going to be an 'imported' product available only at specialty stores therefore costing >$40?

I haven't heard any official word yet, but the demand for these in the US has been fairly high.

I would expect to see them released to US stores, but I doubt you'll see an retail Xbox consoles that come bundled with them by default.
